American Lung Association launches new lung cancer screening initiative The American Lung Association’s LUNG FORCE initiative, in collaboration with the Ad Council, has launched a groundbreaking new lung cancer screening campaign, “Saved By The Scan.” This is a multi-year public awareness effort designed to raise awareness of the benefits of early detection through lung cancer screening and drive high-risk individuals to take an online lung cancer screening eligibility quiz at a new site, SavedByTheScan.org – and, if they meet the guidelines, compel them to talk to their doctor and be screened for lung cancer.
